The Friends of Greenwood Cemetery

The Friends of Greenwood Cemetery (FOG) is sponsoring the clean-up of historic Knights of Pythias Greenwood Cemetery on April 2, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Whether you have family buried in the cemetery, love history, or are a resident of the community, we need your help! We will be removing branches from the winter storms, raking and spreading tree chips/mulch. Even if you’re only able to provide an hour’s worth of assistance, we’d like you to join us.

Please remember to bring gloves, wheel barrows, shovels, and dirt rakes and to wear slacks and sturdy shoes. Refreshments will be provided.

Call FOG at 215-533-2967 for more information.

If you can’t make it to this one, we will be planning more, so please watch for future announcements.

The Friends of Greenwood Cemetery is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization, entirely staffed by volunteers dedicated to the preservation of the cemetery’s grounds, records and historical buildings.
