APRIL 30 GROUNDBREAKING FOR GREENWOOD ESTATE AT RUSH FARM AT HISTORIC CEMETERY IN NORTHWOOD-JUNIATA PARK

A new and long-anticipated beginning for Greenwood Estate at Rush Farm on the grounds of the historic Knights of Pythias Greenwood Cemetery is marked at the official April 30 groundbreaking at the cemetery. Elected officials, including State Reps. Anthony Payton and John Taylor, along with City Councilman Daryl Clarke, join community leaders, the new cemetery owners and preservation team members. They have worked together in an unprecedented effort to save the beloved but neglected 19th century residence from the wrecker’s ball.
